Your light tank (2/5th), and missile infantry (1, 3/5) converge on the ambush site, but the independents are already moving out into the city. Support infantry move up and repair 1/5th light tank. Medics heal 1/5th Assault Infantry

the remaining 1/5th Assault Infantry cover the support infantry allong with the 3 humvee squads (2 MGs 1 TOW) moveing up behind the 1 light tank squad that is right behind the 2 medium tanks. <- this happens without being ambushed or anything bad like that

Strike fighters fly out to the bridges and destroy the remaining one, since independents destroyed the other earlier.

Australian people (some of whom are militia, as you now know) who left the city try to disperse into the countryside.

The crowd continues to gather at the city center. Some militia are apparently in the crowd since they fire guns into the air to raise morale and show bravado.

An unarmed drone comes from NAR territory and broadcasts to the Utopian forces.

"Withdraw from this region immediately. Cease violence against the Australian people."

not anymore because i see the layout of the city, they are all somewhat close...




the medics revive/heal 1/5 infantry so its at 2/5 right?

They push deeper into the city, but the Australians offer only sporadic attacks, which are easily driven off without any casualties on either side.

Having seen the UUS's failure to follow the NAR ultimatum expressed through a diplomat and broadcasted by scout drone, the NAR intervenes in AU40.

The intervention force enters AU40 overland from NAR-controlled AU42 to the southwest.

Colonel Leon Rogers issues the following statement on open channels:
"This is Colonel Rogers of the New Australian Republic Armed Forces. We are here to intervene on behalf of the Australians of AU40 to restore their independent nation and protect NAR safety in this region. Be advised, all United Utopian States Military to leave the territory immediately, or we will fire on you. This is your final warning."

the troops and airforces have reached the territory by now so...

all forces move back tword the beach and dig in/create defences...

all air forces land, rearm/refuel, the fighters and strike fighters are preped on deack ready for lift off...

all troops are landed on the beach and regroup with the others...

the dug in troops form a semi circle with the open end tword the ocean...the armored AT guns first, followed by medium tanks, Armored Mobile Point Defense and missle/aussult infantry, then light tanks and support infantry, then the humvees and APC, then the medics, artilery, and SAMs...

the navy goes close to the back of the formation, without getting stuck in the sand...

the 2 stelth sub carriers head to AU 42..

the transport, after offloading the troops, joins the sub and heads back to pick up the Minotaur that just finnished...

a message is sent to the NAR troops, "we will not attack you, unless directly attacked"

Upon seeing Utopian air forces withdraw, Independent mobile artillery fires upon Utopian ground forces as they also withdraw. They inflict minimal losses.

UUS landing craft just begin offloading units onto the open beach.
UUS Navy holds position just offshore.
UUS lands on and orbits over carrier, getting fuel and ordinance.

UUS support infantry begin working on fortifications [Trenches, foxholes, ridges-to-put-armor-behind, ect.] This will take awhile to finish.

A message is sent out to the New Australian Republic military: "We will not attack you, unless directly attacked."

NAR response: "This is Colonel Leon Rogers of the New Australian Republic Armed Forces. All United Utopian Military must leave the territory of AU40 with all due haste. Failure to withdraw, and we will fire on you."

The NAR forces advance and fan out so they can cut off UUS access to Canberra city.

*all units hold ground and target NAR and Independent forces, only fireing on the independents*

*the armed drone lands and rearms after getting a good picture of the NAR forces and where they are, and the Independent forces if possable*

Independent forces are not seen at this point, aside from scattered elements near the city, which is out of range except from cruise missiles. Your forces continue to dig in and watch the NAR forces

Armed drone goes up for aerial surveillance.

NAR forces deploy themselves in groups around the UUS semicircle, out of range of everything but artillery and cruise missiles. A small NAR force of 1 Mechanized Infantry, 1 Scout (MG) goes up to secure Canberra (City)

Col. Rogers responds: "Stay on the beach or leave AU40. Do not advance."

*the medium tanks and Scout(TOW) move up to intercept the mechanized infantry/scout(MG)*

*they are orderd to hold fire but advance on them as fast as possable*

*everything falls back, the medium tanks and Scout(TOW) have locked on their targets just in case but also fall back, all forces get back to their landing craft and the transport ship*

NAR doesn't attack retreating UUS.

*onece all troops are on their transports, and aircraft on the aircraft carrier, all forces (subs included) go to AU 43*
