*A Kamov Ka-60K Transport helicopter bearing markings of a diplomat of the Soviet Republic of the Moscow Union, trailed by two Kamov Ka-50 Attack Helicopters bearing diplomat escort markings, circles The Reichstag before landing in front of the building. The side door opens and Diplomat Nikolai Yakovlev steps out flanked by a squad of Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti Vympel. Nikolai walks up the stairs and motions for the German Guard*

"Soldier, if I may ask, where is your Commander in which we can conduct affairs between our two nations?"

As the Russian diplomatic helictopers approaches the airspace around the Reichstag, an Orkan attack helicopter cuts off any further progress, lifting rapidly from just below the field of vision a score of meters ahead of the procession. Similarly, three other Orkan helicopters ascend rapidly to the left and right and behind the processions.

Over the radio, in heavily accented Russian, a man declares, "Russian diplomatic envoy, you are about to enter a no fly zone. Halt your progress immediately or you will be shot down. We will escort you to the airport."

The 1te Infanteriedivision marches up to the Reichstag to deliver Lord Rommel and his two companions to the building. Summons are sent to the Japanese and British envoys.

The Japanese diplomat returns to the Reichstag once more, this time riding in a black limousine emblazoned with Japanese heraldy. The limousine has armed escorts accompanying it. He walks up the stairs to meet the stationed guards.

*The military procession returns, with the stately black car behind the redcoated soldiers. Oliver exits the car, followed by the man in full military uniform. They await your permission*

Both diplomats are led into a large, ornate room centered on the east side of the second story. At the end of the large room, a large, sturdy wooden desk can be seen. There is a large picture window framing the desk, where Lord Rommel sits. The north wall is adorned with German flags. The south wall boasts a very large digital screen, currently blank. At Rommel's right hand is Hank, his personal bodyguard.

"Gentleman, I have been informed that you have a proposition to make," Rommel begins. The screen lights up, showing a desk with a German and a Danish flag on either side. A man sits behind it. "Otto, I see the embassy is going along well. Would you please patch me through to Gustav? I would like Denmark to be represented in this meeting as well."

A short time later an alert is sent to Rommel from the Danish representative, requesting a video uplink.

"Ah, Gustav. It is good to see you again. Now then, it is my understanding that you, too, have been approached by Britain and Japan concerning the creation of a league. My first concern about this league is the geography. Three members are all clustered here in Europe, while Japan is isolated. It would prove difficult for Japan to provide immediate military aid and vice versa, should the need arise. It also concerns me that we will have a harder time agreeing on mutual borders here in Europe, whereas Japan will be much more free to expand unchecked.

However, despite these concerns, I find myself initially intrigued by the suggestion of this league. So please, elaborate on your plans."

The Japanese diplomat speaks up, "I can see why you'd be suspicious of Japanese involvement with a league that is predominately made up of nations centered in Europe. The main reason our nation decided to create a league was for one purpose. Military Conquest. We are all Imperialistic nations here, so perhaps it'd be a good idea for us to unite under a single cause. Individually we are weak. Together we are powerful."

The diplomat shifts in his seat a bit.
"As a league we can accomplish tasks that will further our goals, of which we have yet to establish. I'd like to ask you, what would you like for a league to accomplish, if you were to join it?"

The man in military uniform shifts uncomfortably, but a shadow of a smile flickers across his face for an instant. Oliver straightens his tie, before offering his input.*

"King Charles has expressed worry that there could be a situation in Europe. I believe that as one, we could do well, and avoid tearing each other apart. It is like our friend said. Together we are strong. And I think an agreement could be reached about borders. I also have an idea as to how we could be closer to Japan."

"You proposal sounds like you plan on using the nations of europe to your own advantage, to further your own goals. There isn't even much you can offer to help with any conquests that we might have in mind. I do not feel comfortable joining a league with a nation from across the globe, who cannot offer much benefit beyond that of trade, and whos goals we can only further at our own expense. I don't think I have to remind you of the last time a European nation did this exact same thing."

Oliver speaks up

"Well, actually... He is fully aware that us sailing thousands of miles to help him whenever he asks for it is very, very impractical. This only benefits everyone. Not just one nation. A unified Europe would do very well. And what can it hurt to have a friend in the Pacific? We have a good opportunity to spread European influence in the Pacific. This is a grand opportunity."

"And why would we need Japan to expand our influence in the Pacific? Nothing is stopping us from making our own claims to the Pacific islands. Yes, a united Europe is definitely a high priority of Denmark, but of what interest can Japan really have with nations from the other side of the globe?"

The Imperial envoy nods.
"If any of you choose to colonize the pacific I can surely assist you then. For example, if the British choose to colonize India I can assist them then."

"We need Japan, quite simply, because they can save us a great, great deal of time and effort and money. If Japan were to take three territories in the Pacific, and gift them to each of us, why that should save us a great deal of everything. And we do the same for our Japanese friends, possibly somewhere in Italy, or France, and we are able to support each other quite easily, and have expansion possibilities with zero effort on our parts. Think of it as a show of good faith amongst us close allies."

The Envoy scowls at the danish diplomats remark "What can we be assistance of? Well the whole point of this league was global conquest in the first place! You'd be hard pressed to accomplish that if you're all based in Europe. There is plenty stopping a pacific conquest, say... the distance for one! Not to mention the resistance from various Pacific nations."

"If Japanese unification is a problem, then why isn't the fact that Britain isn't united a problem to you? I think you are being rather unfair. The distance isn't a problem, it's an opportunity for us all."

"A guild based on global conquest. I am just not sure how it will work when three of us will be walking on figurative glass to decide on borders while a fourth is free to expand in all directions. For example, I know that both myself and King Charles have a desire to control France. One of us will have to step on the other's toes before an agreement is reached. However, there is no one to contest and Japanese desires. Japan would receive first pickings of all of its desired neighbors. If the league were solely comprised of widespread nations or solely comprised of European nations, I could see how things might work out, but, for a league that seeks to eventually role the entire world, we Europeans would be get whatever was convenient. Before I even consider joining such a guild, I would like to see a proposal for a mutual border agreement."

Sadao nods, "Well, yes, we will have to establish our borders for planned conquest. I dont really have any authority to say as to how far my Emperor would like to expand, but does anyone have any objection to my expansion of a certain territory? If so, I would like to hear it, please."

Three men march towards the step of the Reichstag with a haste of something urgent. The middle man holds himself with a sence of pride and yet humility at the might of the hosting nation. The other two keep in step slightly behind the leader as they reach their destination.

"Germany is in the heart of Europe, so if anything I think it should claim most of the European land. By that, I mean Germany should be allowed to claim the French territories, the area where historical Germany had occupied, Austrian land along with a few other locations. I would suggest expansion to the north or north-east for the danish. As for the British... i'm undecided. Perhaps colinization of territories outisde of Europe? Perhaps in Africa? In the Pacific? Maybe even in the west, in the Americas. That would, however, be harder to defend." suggest Sadao.
