A man in the middle of a circle of Imperial Japanese honor guard walk up the steps to the Reichstag in order to initiate diplomacy between the two nations.

The honor guard stops and parts in the front. The man in the middle steps forward and bows deeply.
"I represent the Imperial Japanese Empire. My buisness? Oh well, I would simply like to speak with your dignitaries."

"Please, follow me," the guard instructs, entering the Reichstag. He leads the men to a side office. Inside, an officer sits at a desk. Looking up from all of his paperwork, he greets the men.

"Ah, I see we have guests. Please, take a seat. I am Gustav, in charge of handling foreign affairs in the absence of the Oberfeldmarschall. How may I be of assistance, today?"

Another (the first) guard arrives. "Gustav is currently preoccupied, but I'll take you to a waiting room until he becomes available." With that, he turns and enters the Reichstag.

The diplomat does as he was asked, sitting himself down, crossing his legs.
He looks at Gustav for a moment, then glacnes down.

"Allow me to be frank with you, Sir, the German Empire is an incredibly powerful nation in terms of sheer military strength."

He then looks up to meet Gustav in the eyes.

"My superiors know that, and they would like that strength to be put to a good cause. The cause? The furthering of our nations. We would like to discuss with you, about creating a league of nations. An Axis of nations. My Emperor already has plans of creating it, so we would like to invite the The German Empire to the Axis of Nations. I promise you Gustav, I promise you, there will not be a single better choice your people could make than to join us."

The diplomat pauses for a moment as if to let Gustav interject.

"Your thoughts... Gustav..."

"I'm afraid such a proposal is not something I can decide without the Oberfeldmarschall's express opinion," Gustav replies. "I will contact him in the meantime, but I must ask that you wait outside while I discuss your proposition with him."

The diplomat stares for a moment before responding.
"Why of course! This is quite the proposal so that's nothing I didn't expect... i'll be outside I suppose."

The diplomat stands up and makes his way to the door, not without turning his head revealing his grin. Sadao promptly exits.

After a few moments, a guard escorts the Japanese diplomat back to Gustav's office. "I have been authorized to offer trade and non-aggression, but until the Oberfeldmarschall has had time to consider the offer, I will have to politely turn down an offer of joining this Axis of Nations. I apologize for the inconvenience. Diplomatic lodging can be found in the structure just across the street. Feel free to stay in Berlin as long as you'd like." Having dismissed the Japanese envoy, he has the Norwegians called in.

The diplomat scowls, then smiles again and replies, "What a shame. I'll gladly accept the non-aggression pact and trade route, however. I do hope to hear from you soon! And please, I implore you to reconsider your decision."

He leaves for the suggested lodging.

"We wish to propose a trade route and a possibly embassy between Germany and the URS.

*A procession of redcoated soldiers appear outside the Reichstag. Two men in front both carry flags. One flag is the flag of the British Empire, the second flag is that of Germany. The men both march to the side, and a column of soldiers marches through the gap they left. Behind them is a stately black car. The men snap to attention, and two men depart the car. One of the men is in full military uniform, the other is wearing a simple black suit. The two men approach the Reichstag, it is clear they are awaiting a response from the German people.*

*The man in the suit sits and smiles politely at Gustav. The man in military uniform gives a curt nod to Gustav, and slowly takes his seat. The man in the suit speaks up.*

"My name is Oliver, and I have come here by orders of His Majesty, King Charles the Third. He thinks it would be beneficial to the Empire, if we were friendly with such a powerful nation. Which is why I have come here to offer you trade. We also want to offer you an Alliance which would be the first step to our nations becoming friends. I would request that you consider the proposal heartily, as we want nothing but to be your friend."

*The man in military uniform leaves the office, and returns seconds later with the German flag that arrived with the redcoats. He places it on the desk, wrapped up. At which point, the military man gives a crisp salute, and leaves the office. Oliver shakes Gustav's hand.*

"Thank you for your hospitality. Do not forget to call us when Rommel arrives. Goodbye."

*The diplomatic procession leaves, just as grandly as it arrived.*
