Belorussian ground forces enter EEU10. ((Related post in World Union thread))

Indochinese forces achieve a decisive victory against Armed State of Thailand. Their counter-offensive hits the Thai units northwest of Phnom Penh and find them unprepared, turning a counter-offensive into a major push attempting to expel the Kavila's soldiers from SEA19 entirely.

Most Thai forces, and General Kavila, retreat to SEA16. A remainder is still in the northern parts of SEA19.
A portion of the cruise missile and strategic bomber stations switch off military targets and begin withering bombardments against civilian centers in Indochina and SEA19, an apparent attempt to break morale.

Indochinese forces continue to advance in SEA19.

Eastern Europe
Belorussian ground forces take EEU10's independent eastern ground forces by surprise, as they had expected an assault from the north. EEU10's eastern army is in disarray, some elements routing.

The Middle East
In ME19, a bus full of Europeans explodes, killing several.

[Translated to English]
From Arabian News Agency:
"Today in ME19, also known as general Israel, several European tourists were killed. A bus loaded and left a tourist site with a mixed group of people. It was attacked by masked men with advanced weapons and explosives. The bus was hit by a rocket, and the tourists gunned down as they attempted to flee the burning vehicle, which exploded later. Many bodies have not yet been identified, and the culprits remain at large. Included among the victims identified were citizens of WEU22, the British Empire, France, and Denmark.
Sources indicate ME19's government may be responsible.
This is Kamal Basara, Arabian News Agency."

EEU10 military forces in and around Riga are bathed with lethal chemical weapons. Information from Riga is not conclusive to the perpetrator, some say Belarus did it (they have capacity, as does EEU10 and Finland). Belorussian army secures central and eastern EEU10. Finland still hasn't committed any ground troops to enter EEU10.

GLAU Supply Vessel Rápida Limpieza, Caribbean Sea
Small, fast boats approached the ship and demanded to board. Since the ships had deck guns that could puncture the hull of the larger, unarmed cargo vessel, their demands were met. Armed men came onto the ship and announced that they were taking it. The crew were rounded up and forced to the bow of the ship. Jose Atrio watched the armed men with apprehension, hoping that he would make it back to see his family again. One of the pirates speaks with another, obviously the leader since he was smoking a cigar. The leader gives a short command.
The crew of Rápida Limpieza are gunned down, and the vessel taken.

Other acts of piracy are on the rise in the Caribbean, though not all as brutal or with as many casualties. Trade in the region takes a hit.

South America 03, GLAU Port
Little swimming figures go underwater near the GLAU Frigate, Toalla Miedo. A sentry notices them, and raises the alarm. Since the figures are headed toward military property and are not heeding warning to stop, he fires on them. Some of them are killed, but a few reach the ship, and put something on it.

Other guards rush to get into the water and investigate the interference and drive away the swimmers, but they are too late.
The mine explodes.
GLAU personnel go flying from the boat and out of the disturbed water. A hull breach on the Frigate allows water to start filling the ship and it tilts, but engineers move to save the vessel. It seems like their efforts will be successful, but an explosion from inside the ship's armory tears out more of the hull, and it sinks in the harbor.

Swimmer bodies and captured sabatoures are confirmed to be pirates.
The pirates have made their most audacious move yet, to damage the escorting capability of their strongest prey.

Caribbean Sea
Pirates keep messing with shipping in the region, and current attempts to deter or combat them prove ineffective.

Sibaristan

DPRS 3rd Army is effectively cut off from the rest of the Sibaristan Forces. It's commander decides to make an ill-advised counter-attack against the Manchurian push, and the 3rd Army is broken, with most elements routing or surrendering. 3rd Army Commander Nurlan is relieved of command and disappears.

World Union Forces and the People's 1st Army in North Asia 24 stand alone against Manchurian forces.

Sibarista
Earlier, at DPRS Military HQ:
"The World Union has failed us. Even now the last of them make their escape, though they were few to begin with..." General Ritsan observes.
"Manchuria forces advance everywhere, and we have only the first army to stand against them. We cannot prevail!" a chief staff member proclaims, "We must ask for surrender"
"The Democratic Republic will never fall while we still defend it!" Ritsan retorts, "we must make use of every available option."'

From INN:
Nuclear weapons have been deployed by Sibaristan missiles and aircraft against Manchurian military forces in Sibaristan and on the Manchurian cites of Ulanqab, Baotou, and Xilin Gol.
Sibaristan official Fahran Hotaki, announcing the news from the capital, Kansk, said the devices were necessary and proper to maintain the integrity of the Democratic Republic.

An accurate assessment of the damage caused has so far been impossible due to a huge clouds of impenetrable dust covering the targets. Hotaki said the attacks heralded the beginning of an "absolute destruction of tyranny." Large numbers of Manchurian forces have been reported untouched, however. A total of eight strikes have been sighted (courtesy Eagleland observation satellites).

Ganbold Lundaa, Manchuria's head of world relations, issued a statement that "Manchuria will not be intimidated by weak-minded leaders" and that the nation of Manchuria plans to continue its "war of liberation" on the Sibaristan government. We hope this means Manchuria will not employ weapons of mass destruction in response.

((All of these are International News Network stories))

EEU10
The results from the Belarus-directed elections are finalized. Three main parties win out. Marvelous Goodies Movement is largely moderate, but wants to ally with Belarus and build national infrastructure and economy as main party platforms. New Polatik wants to see EEU10 as a member of a strong, sympathetic neighbor for protection, supporting integration with a foreign country. Baltic National Party wants to strengthen and rebuild EEU10's military, capture independent territories, defeat Finland in another war, and demand a place of respect in the European stage.

Chancellor (leader): Marvelous Goodies
Legislative: 60% Marvelous Goodies, 25% New Polatik, 15% Baltic National

Central America
USA's leader, Micheal Wilson, issued an ultimatum to the Esse Cartel: "Either cease all illegal drug exportation to the US, or face the justice of our military. I won't hesitate to protect the American people, and the reason is, I am the President of the Great United States of America!"

Sibaristan
The terrible mushroom clouds inflicted on Northern Asia return, this time once again over Manchurian military forces in Sibaristan, but also on the DPRS capital, Kensk, along with several other Sibaristan cities, most under control of Manchurian forces or threatened by them. A Sibaristan official states, "the aggressive Manchurian enemy shall gain nothing from this invasion. These people [living in the cities] knew the meaning of sacrifice. It was more merciful to give them heroes' deaths than to leave them under the Manchurian boot."

"The DPRS command would rather kill its own people then stand accountable for its treachery to the workers it has exploited. Their scorched earth tactics show complete disregard for the population they should have represented and been accountable for," declares Manchurian military command.

The repeated use of nuclear weapons has halted Manchurian progression in the theater.

AU45
People attempting to leave the UUS are extensively questioned, according to some who went through the process. "[The UUS officials] asked me about my job, what I did in the Utopian States, whether I worked for any government, what is the meaning of life, and if I saw anything strange," says Maximilian Eichel, a German national, "I just want to go back to Germany, so I'm glad that I'm finally through the process."
The screening process isn't yet complete for most attempting to leave the country.

New Guinea
New Guinea legalizes recreational use of heroine and cocaine. "We were doing them anyway, so it makes sense for the populace to have access to the drugs as well," states one stoned government official about the decision.

Caribbean Sea
Following a period of aggressive patrolling and a near-blockade of pirate havens, operations in Jamaica(CA27) by government forces and a possible additional force have destroyed multiple pirate bases in the island nation. Pirate power on the island is significantly diminished, as are projected raids by the pirates, for without many bases, they cannot operate effectively.
