Hypothetically speaking, yes, you would still be able to play, since production stuff is basically public information. However, production stuff is also the single easiest thing to handle, and I do not know if having a player handle just that is really worth it.

Not really. Production is the least time consuming, because you just have to verify that they're spending the right amount of PP, and if you really want to go all the way, add to a sheet that notes all of their structures and units. It doesn't require any response, any RPing, any rolling, or anything like that.

It does take up the most space though.

Some people send a production pm everyday.

so having a mod for that, just to keep the others' inbox from filling too fast is a good idea.

It isn't that. I'm just uncomfortable with having player/mods. We had those in OB's first iteration, and it was simply unbalanced. Players will always subconsciously be biased towards themselves.

Oh, I don't expect your position to have much room for bias. Though I would be a touch uncomfortable with you having to know what everyone was spending on. It's technically public knowledge, but no one takes the time to keep track of every player's daily spendings.
