UUS naval forces west of estimated general position Thai fleets, southwest of estimated general position of Chinese/Indochinese navies (Southwest of SEA20)

Nobody really knows where anyone is exactly at sea, except Indochina and China coordinate with each other.

*UUS forces move ahead at flank speed useing their long range radar to pick up anything, then 2 fighters are launched and sent on a search and report mission (search for anyone else then report if there is anyone or not in the area the radar didnt pick up)*

The UUS naval forces move west by northwest, trying to aim between all fleets' last estimated positions. The ships travel at flank speed, consuming their fuel quickly and overtaxing the engines, but achieving true full speed. They search with their radar systems actively and don't see anything yet. Two fighters go out toward estimated positions of other fleets in the area (assumability not blindly) and make scans and such.

The fighter sent to the Thai area detects interceptors and falls back.

The fighter sent to the Coalition area doesn't find anything.

It is unknown if the main UUS body is detected or not at this point, or what the Thai, Coalition, and China are doing.

(so fuel wasnt consumed that much on the 6-7 day journey, but it is being spent pretty bad in a few hours?)

*the Fleet tones down the engines to the most fuel consrveing but also gets in two formations with a medium warship in front, accompanied with light warships next to it (exept one). in the second group a meium warship is in front with the Aircraft Carrier behind it, the transports on the sides of the Aircraft Carrier, the last light warship in the back, the Unique subs and Reg. sub are in front of the first formation, scouting/scanning ahead*
(the fleet should be there soon)

*all fighters are put on emergency standby [pilots are in thier aircraft, and everything is ready to go, the aircraft are on the deck but the jets are not started]*
*Bombers are on standby right behind them and all other pilots are on stand by*

(UUS fleet is west of Indochinese fleet, northeast of Thai fleet)

UUS fleet radar detects at least 12 aircraft approaching from the southwest.
Alerts sound, and the fighters rush to take off from the carriers. On the bridge of the flagship, an officer remarks to the captain, "They must have seen our fighter and known we were in the area somewhere, but how do they know where we are?"
"They are tracking our radar signals, I guess," the captain muses. He suddenly regains himself and orders, "Make sure the everyone's at action stations!"

The Utopian Fighters rush from their carriers and get airborne.

Submarines don't detect anything notable yet, though the fleet's background noise doesn't help anything.

*the fleet is to shift slightly west*

*all frigates break off to intercept the aircraft*

*an order is given out to the fighters*

"stay in range of the frigates AA-missles and only fire if fired upon"

*frigates are to lock AA-missles as fast as possable and to fire if there is an engadgement*

*a message is sent to the Indo-Chinese forces that the UUS is in the area and not to engadge us on accident and if they have forces that are in the area UUS may be under attack by multaple unknown aircraft*

UUS frigates and fighters do as described.

The unidentified aircraft from southwest continue their approach.

The message to Indochina is sent to their military commander, who UUS can make contact with. "Understood, UUS in area." Whether it was relayed back to local commanders, or correctly, is unknown.

*Strike fighter and armed drone is launched as soon as possable, the armed rone stays near the Aircraft Carrier the strike fighter joins the fighters, the bombers ready to take off after that*

*a message is send on all frequencies tword the approching aircraft*
"this is UUS peacekeeping force ment to provide aid to the area of South East Asia, attack on us will only hurt the area and bring the might of the WU down on you"

The approaching aircraft change direction to go around the UUS fleet to the south, apparently attempting to bypass the entire fleet and continue northeast.

A respond on the open channel: "Unidentified Vessels, this is Armed State Aviation (Thailand), do not engage or we will fire on you. Over."

"aknowledged, we dont mess with you, you dont mess with us, we are here it help stabilize the area, not wage war"

(holy fuck did i get a good dice roll?)

*all aircraft and ships return to their origional spots(formation and on aircraft carrier) then the fleet moves directly for SEA 19 (am i there yet?)*

The Thai aircraft (12) fly toward the general area where UUS thinks Indochinese fleet is, leaving sensor range. UUS continue moving toward SEA19. A number (7), but not all of the Thai aircraft re-enter UUS radar coverage from the east. They are travelling at maximum possible speed for their naval bomber types.

*Admiral Nick thinks nothing of it and continues moveing tword the goal of the mission: SEA 19*

As the seven Thai bombers go past the fleet, UUS observers notices fresh damage on two of the planes, one of which appears to have only one functioning engine.

UUS Ship-based RADAR picks up large numbers of aircraft from the direction the Thai returned from. (West Northwest)

(by now UUS is northeast of southern Thai fleets markers, south of Airbase in South Vietnam. It's also worth noting that many of the markers are not exactly where stuff is.)

*a message is sent in the area of the returning aircraft*

"UUS forces in the area, dont shoot at friendly forces!"

*all forces go to the destination, and use the quickest route...*

"UUS forces in the area, dont shoot at friendly forces!"

The returning Thai aircraft make no response, and fly away in the general direction of their fleet.

The approaching, unidentified aircraft seem to ignore the UUS communications, and continue to close the gap.

On the bridge of the Big E, the senior radar operator sees the approaching blips on the screen multiply, the new blips coming faster toward the fleet. "Captain! They're launching missiles."

*All aircraft are launched as fast as possable(the damaged aircraft is launched only if it can take off and land without danger to the aircraft or pilot), the fighters and strike fighter(s) go TWORD the missles, the auto cannons of the strike fighter(s) and guns of the fighters are used on the missles, the planes then get in the way of the missles (not exactly in front of it but really close) just to launch counter mesures[chaff, flares, exc.] then fighters and strike fighter(s)launch missles at the enemy aircraft and continue to engadge)*

*The UUS frigates move tword the approching aircraft, locking missles and fireing on the missles and/or aircraft, and use Point Defence guns on the approching missles*

*The destroyers get between the aircraft carrier and the missles, also use point defence guns*

*transport ships get behind the Aircraft Carrier and use it as a sheild*

*The Aircraft Carrier uses point defence guns against the missles, all but minimal operateing crew are moved out of the Tower of the AC [Includeing the admiral]*

*All ships launch counter mesures (shoot flares, chaff, exc.)*

*All ships prepair life boats*

UUS aircraft steam off the carrier and try to engage the missiles. They are unable to score many hits because fighters aren't supposed to engage missiles, though one of the pilots with incredible aiming skills manages to take down a missile. Due to the impossible nature of multitasking attacking a missile and flying ahead of it launching counter measures, the planes split and separate tasks. One plane goes after the attackers, and shoots one down.

Frigates in position fire chaff up to confuse missile targeting and use SAMs and point defenses to shoot down several approaching missiles. Other frigates can't do anything as they aren't in position. Destroyers follow suit.

While many of the approaching missiles are successfully destroyed, and a few distracted by the chaff, some score hits. One flies through a chaff cloud and re-acquires a target beyond.
(Destroyed 1 Bomber. Lost 1 Light Warship/Frigate. 1 Medium Warship/Destroyer was damaged. Its engines only operate at half power and all weapons have failed.)

The unidentified aircraft fly southeast away from the UUS fleet.

(i edited my post befor you replied, but its ok)

*The 1 damaged medium warship pickes up the survivors of the light warship(survivors should be very high because lifeboats were alread readied), other light warships get on each side of the damaged medium warship, connect to it via docking ropes, and help it move faster than 1/2 normal speed*

*all ships try to identify who's aircraft that was and match the new speed of the medium warship to SEA 19*

UUS navy is now north of estimated position of Thai fleets on map, moving slowly toward SEA19. Everyone knows the fleet is in the area, now.
