The senate house of the Republic is located in the city of Palermo, now called "Panormus" due to the Latinisation of the country. It is made in classic Roman style, with pillars and steep, marble steps on the outside. The flags and military standards of the Republic adorn the outside, giving the white building small dashes of colour here and there. The inside is thickly carpeted, with guards on duty at all times. There are several rooms for discussion, and a section dedicated to giving foreign diplomats rest. Several propaganda posters are on the walls, saying phrases in Latin and Italian.

President Henry requests to open a private comm with Sextus Libo Graenus

The word is relayed to Sextus, who upon arriving at the building, seats himself in the intercom room and begins negotiations.

"Si, si, si, I appreciate the gesture, my friend. So, it is trade you wish to establish? I believe I can agree to this. However, it would be rude of me just to dismiss our meeting without attempting anything further. How does an alliance with the Latin Republic sound?"

"a military allience? but we are so far away...how about this, we can have an NAP and if you want to call a favor militarily you may do so, but a military allience in the future is quite possable when our empires are larger"

"This does sound reasonable. I would gladly accept this. I would shake your hand, Signore Presidente, if I could. If there is anything else to discuss...?"

*Sextus smiles and salutes you*

"Iunctus Utopian Status Invictus! Jovis beo tu." *The intercom shuts off.

*A Diplomat from the GLAU arrives at the Latin embassy and proposes a trade agreement.*

*The diplomat is welcomed, and the trade pact is made official.*

*A helicopter which Identifies itself as transporting a GLAU diplomat before it enters Latin Airspace.*

"This is Jairo Mena Merez of the GLAU and I have come to negotiate a alliance with the Republic."

*A UUS Diplomatic jet preceeds tword Latin Airspace*

"this is Jacob, a UUS Diplomatic Represenitive, sent on a Diplomatic mission to disscuss private matters"

*Both the helicopter and the jet are cleared to land in Panormus. "Please await outside the airport. An escort will arrive for you both in the meanwhile."

*UUS Jet joins the escort, then lands, Jacob proceeds to the Diplomatic Chambers*

*Jairo and his guard wait for the escort and then proceed to the embassy.*

A message arrives from superior.

"Greetings, we would like to establish a trade route. We can discuss the prospect further if you wish."

The Usonian State Department makes contact and sets up a meeting. On the day of that meeting, a single representative, well attired, arrives and makes his way to the person this concerns. He comes with one goal, to ensure open trade (a trade agreement).
"So, as you are probably aware, I am here for one broad topic. I wish to establish open borders for our citizen and trade good, so that properly check goods and people with legitmate passports won;t be thwarted by political machinations beyond their control. Will you help us take this small step to make the world a better place?"
