A black car bearing the N.U.C.A. flag parks outside of the U.P.S.A. embassy. A man in a black and white suit exits from the back and holds the door open as a different man, dressed in a black and orange tux, emerges. The two make their way to the entrance of the embassy and the first man knocks on the door.

A man in a dark suit answers the door. "Hello there friend," the man says, "if you would like to request a meeting with our diplomats you must provide identification and go through our security measures. If you have any questions be free to ask."

The man in the orange and black suit looks up to a camera above the door. "I am Vince Stalon, a diplomatic representative of the Confederacy. President Baseck has requested a trade agreement with the U.P.S.A. I will comply with your security measures." Vince pulls an ID card out of his pocket and holds it up to the camera.

"Sorry, for the trouble Mr. Stalon, its better to be save than sorry eh? But enough wasting time, if you follow me I'll bring you to Mr. Bupe's office." The man in the dark suit leads the two men to a door down the hall and opens it. Inside a man in his 50s sits at his desk doing paperwork. The man looks up and smiles.

As he stands he says, "Hello there friends, allow me to introduce myself, My name is Kopano Bupe. How may I be of service?"

Salton returns the smile and sits in the chair before the desk. The other man stands silently behind him. "Evening, Mr. Bupe." replies Salton in a cheery tone. "I come on Ambassador Preston's behalf to offer a trade pact between the N.U.C.A. and U.P.S.A. We feel it would be beneficial for the economy of both of our nations. As part of this trade pact, we would also like a non-aggression pact be set up to ensure trade safety and quality."

Kopano Bupe takes his seat once more and replies, "Ah yes, of course. What is trade when its not protected? This deal will give both harmony and wealth between our two nations. The United Peoples of South Africa will happily agree with your deal." Kopano Bupe than stands up once more and offers his hand for a shake. "It's a custom of ours to shake when we make a sincere agreement. Surely you understand."

"Of course," he Stalon replies as he stands and returns the shake. "I'm glad this worked out so well. President Baseck will be very pleased." The diplomat goes back to his car and they dive off.

A merchant ship can be seen pulling into Cape Town's port bearing the flag of Denmark. 10 men disembark, 9 men in military uniform. They approach the nearest embassy and send a message to the UPSA government, requesting an audience.

A man in a dark suit approaches the group with a smile on his face; arms held out he says, "Ah so you did receive the message! We thought we would have to conduct our relations through video, but for you to come all this way is greatly appreciated with much thanks. But before we continue further I must ask you to allow us to confiscate any weapons you and your men might be carrying. As Mr. Bupe always says, 'Safety is a concern not for us, but for our people.'"

The civilian steps forward and responds.
"I always wanted to see your wonderful country, Mr ambassador. I thought it would be better for our people to communicate personally rather than from two continents away. Now, there must be a reason for sending your message. May I hear what it is, and whether or not Denmark may be able to accept?"

"Ah sorry for the mistake, but I am only the ambassador's assistant. I am not qualified to make decisions for our beloved people. But I will happily bring you to Mr. Bupe to discuss relations with you," says the man in the dark suit as he points his hand towards a large wooden table filled with people. "Mr. Bupe is currently celebrating a successful fishing exhibition with the people of this city. You and your men are invited to join in the festivities. You must try our peoples fish, it is much different from what you are used to Mr. Ambassador."

"Please, lead the way."
The ambassador and his escort follow the assistant to Mr. Bupe.

The man in the dark suit shows the Danish Ambassador a seat, right across from Mr. Bupe. Plates of food are served to everyone. Music could be heard in the background. Mr. Bupe is seen playing "patti cake" with one of the children. As the Danish man sits, Mr. Bupe notices his presence and tells the child to go play with the others. He turns and says, "Hello there friend, my name is Kopano Bupe, Head Diplomat of UPSA. Please enjoy the food and music of our people. Sorry if this might offend you Mr. Ambassador, but I don't believe I caught your name."

"Jorgen Aderkas at your service. As I understand it, your fishing exhibition was a success. May I enquire as to what you were fishing for?"

"Why the Black Marlin of course." Kopano answered, "A very strong, yet very tasty fish. Our people's fisherman are the very best in these waters, very experienced. But I digress, I've invited you here for a reason and I shall give it to you. UPSA would like to make two separate agreements. The first is a trade agreement."

"2 proposals you say? Well, as to your first proposal, I can accept on the behalf of Denmark, as trade is a major priority for our seafaring nation. Now what is this second proposal?"

"Happy to hear that." said Kopano with a smile, "the second may seem a little unnecessary due to our vast distances, but UPSA would like to request an alliance with your country, or at the very least a border agreement."

"I'm afraid to inform you that I can accept nothing more than a non-aggression pact. Although, I must wonder why you would seek an alliance with a nation so far away from yours."

"It saddens me to hear that. But understandable. UPSA only wished to make sure our brothers from Northern Africa be free of American and European influence. Please do not take this the wrong way. We only wanted help from your nation in making sure no other Nation tries to colonize our Northern brothers. And maybe in return our people will help you get rid of a Northern influence of your own?"

WIth obviously suppressed mirth, the ambassador responds.
"I can assure you that Norway, Finland, or Russia do not pose much of a threat to our nation. However, if you will excuse me for a moment."
The ambassador leaves the table and pulls out of a cell phone. He talks urgently for one moment before returning with a satisfied look on his face.
"Should you find need of assistance in lessening your northern influences, Denmark will not hesitate to aid you however we can. We can't however guarantee military aid. For these influences of yours are powerful inland nations, much to our disadvantage."

Jorgen also adds
"I'm sorry, but I can't guarantee that colonization of Africa will not happen. I can't even guarantee that my own Denmark will not seek bases in Africa. Theres nothing I can do for you involving that."

"Our country will be happy to receive aid from Denmark. Perhaps the colonization discussion will continue on a future date? But i thank you for your time, you're free to go."
