As of 12:00am on April 13th, UPSA will begin their annual "Die Viering van die See" where citizens of UPSA will wear costumes made from the very creatures they caught during their time fishing this year. They will then sing and dance in these costumes all the way to the Capital where they will enjoy a large feast. It is rumored that UPSA leader, Fenyang Mbui will be wearing a crown made of coral, Kopano Bupe, UPSA's head of diplomacy, will wear a shirt made of Black Marlin scales, and Herman Akosua, UPSA's top general, will be wearing a helmet made of a shark's head.
More updates will be posted as the celebration goes on until it ends at midnight April 21th.

You can sum up everything that happened on the first day of "Die Viering van die See" with one word. And that word is fish....fish and dancing, well that's two words... But lets just ignore that fact, for now anyway. In further news, local town hero, Frank "Insert Actual African Name Here" Johnson, began his quest to break the record for fastest traveling dance to the capital today. Mr. Johnson will be trying to beat a record of 3 days 10 hours 35 min and 10 seconds, held by the man only known as "The Fisherman." Our experts say that if Mr. Johnson keeps up his pace, he'll be able to beat the previous record by 20 minutes! Astounding! Due to this great attempt at...well greatness, UPSA International decided to take part in breaking a record of our own. Therefore, every employee of UPSA International will now attempt to use the word "Fish" and its other forms, (fishy and fishiness do count) as much times as they possibly can in hopes of breaking the Die Viering van die See record of 13,370 during the celebration period. In other Fishy news, the fishiness of the Celebration started off with a bang of fish. Thousands upon thousands of UPSA citizens donned their fishy costumes of fish fishiness and started their dance towards the capital. The amazing pilgrimage can be summed up by a quote made by an old man wearing a sombrero made of hag-fish, "Yeah you kinda get used to the smell after awhile." And with that, this UPSA International, signing off, Stay fishy everyone, stay fishy.
More updates will be posted as the celebration goes on until it ends at midnight April 21th.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Moscow Union, Dmitri Ivanov wrote:
Today, the Soviet Republic of the Moscow Union will be engaging in celebrations that will start effectively today, 30th April, and will end at 11:59 PM 9th May. Today is a momentous day in the history of the proud nation of the Soviet Union, previous Russia, and now the Moscow Union, as today marks the day that Soviet forces of the Third Shock Army pridefully achieved in securing the Reichstag from German Forces during a symbolic fight in the midst of the Battle for Berlin, 1945, and raised the Victory Flag atop it. 9th May marks the day that German forces surrendered to the might of the Red Army, and therefore the Soviet Union. The Great Patriotic War and its sacrifices will never be forgotten by our nation.
Thus, I encourage all nations to celebrate this amazing time in our history, the world's history, and bid sympathy and respect for Germany and all nations that participated in it as well.
