I am open to additional ideas for technologies, so please share if you want a tech in the game.

Player-defined techs will be placed somewhere along the line of techs previously defined and then are researched based on how many pre-requisites are required (credit to Seath for groovy groovy awesome ideas)


Examples of possible ideas:
Signal Scrambling/Jamming (causes enemy confusion, reducing effectiveness of enemy)
Electro-Magnetic Weapons
Cryogenic Weapons
Microwave Weapons
Negative Feedback (related to power armor)
Advanced Thrusters (more/better VTOL units)
Targeting Computers (all weapons from vehicles/air/orbital more accurate = more attack/damage)
Powered Armor
Stealth Technology (not stealth fields, real life stealth)
Improved [Anything]
Research [Unit Type]
Prerequisite: [Player-defined unit, ability, or technology]

Advanced Robotics
Advanced Factory Design (increases effect of factories)
Automated Factory
Enhancement Suit (lighter version of power armor... very basic and light exoskeleton with no armor attached)

Some parts of the tree require multiple prerequisites, which still cost the same each. This section follows the same rules as the tech tree (and is integrated into it, only separated to keep from confusing main tree), it's just that some of the tech requires more than one prerequisite:
